Urgent: scanner problem

Hi,

I have an old Acer 3300U which stopped working and started making some clicking noises. On opening it up, I found out that the belt was loose. Is it possible to get a new belt for the scanner? Where in Mumbai? I don't really want to buy a new scanner since my use is very occasional.

If I have to buy a new scanner, which is the cheapest reliable one? Requirements are mainly document scanning of important papers for archival (home use, so occasional).

Can't buy an all-in-one because I have a 6 month old printer (didn't buy an all-in-one then because I already had a scanner!!!).

I would appreciate a quick reply since I would like to take a call today.
