Ive been looking at these two options ::

Cooler Master Elite 330 (2.9K) + Cooler Master eXtreme Power 500W (3.6K) = 6.5K

Antec Sonata III - 8.3K (comes with Antec EarthWatts 500W PSU)

Right now i dont intend to get a CPU Cooler but maybe in future may get one..
CM 600W and Chieftech cabinets are not available here

which combo is better??

This is the config im looking at

E6750 ~ 8.7K
XFX 650i Ultra ~ 6K
2X1 GB Kingston DDR2 667MHz RAM ~ 4K
320 GB Seagate SATA HDD ~ 3.7K
XFX GeForce 8600 GT ~ 7.5K
Sony DVD writer ~ 1.75K
Viewsonic VX1932wm ~ 11.5K
2.1 Speakers (plz suggest something around 2.5-2.5K)
Logitech Keyboard+Mouse combo ~ 0.725K

will my above config be supported by a 500W PSU, ill also get 2X120mm fans for the cabinet

what VA rating UPS should i get to support my above config??

This will be my first Assembled PC ever so if anyone can suggest me some reliable dealer in Chennai...

Go for Cooler Master Elite 330 & Cooler Master eXtreme Power 500W.That will be enough for ur pc.When u connect the fans connect them to a different molex connector if available.For ups query a 650VA is recommended.

well im kinda noob at this so...
what is a molex connector??
is it some way i can externally power the fans and not through the PSU??

Are these prices inclusive of VAT? Coz they seem a little high to me...
Here are the approx prices in bangalore ( excluding VAT):
E6750--- 8K
650i Ultra--- 5-5.5K
2X1 GB Kingston DDR2 667MHz RAM--- 3.5-3.6K
XFX GeForce 8600 GT ( Std version- 540Mhz Core, 256 GDDR3 and all)---- 6.9K ( This one is inclusive of VAT; my friend bought it last week)
Rest all look fine...

For Speaker u can go for Altec Lansing ATP3. Heard its very good. Will cost about 2.5K...

For this system, a 500W PSU will be good enough. For UPS go for APC500VA;since u have an LCD and 8600GT is not a power hungry card I think that should suffice. I have one myself for a similar kind of config...
