IDE to SATA
Can I connect my two PATA HD to a SATA port somehow by cards etc?

U need a pci slot ide connector card.They help u connect a pata drive when u do not have any pata ports left on mobo

if u run outta IDE interfaces 2 attach xtra hdd, den do wat harvik said
but if u thinkin of gettin performance boost by attachin PATA 2 SATA, den no der r no such cards 2 attach to d

its tat i am planning to take a new board with sata and new slot..but i cannot afford to purchase HDs now...so I need to connect them ....tats all..thanks both of u...

mobos still come with 2 IDE interfaces
so if u wan 2 continue with ur PATA HDD u can always connect dem 2 ur IDE slot and den l8r wen u buy SATA HDD transfer all d data 2 ur new HDD

Small correction
IDE to SATA and SATA to IDE exist. It is like a small card + data cable for SATA + power cable for card (not for SATA device)
Cost - Rs.400
Same card work for SATA to IDE and IDE to SATA (one type at a time)
Just bought one and I will post details later. So far it is working fine - and yes I know I will not get SATA perfomance as it will go to IDE port.
