pendrive converted into 3.23 Gb from 1 Gb??

i m having a 1 Gb transcend pen drive....
Today when i inserted it it showed its capacity as 3.23 GB ..
wat happened to it??

try formatting it again . or was it just a glitch ? i.e.. did it show as 1gb when u re-inserted it ?

Did you format it with NTFS with compression and add data to it?

If not, the drive needs to be reformatted as this happens only when data gets corrupted. I have had such problems with faulty flash memory cards
(once a 256 mb card was showing 1gig. It died soon after. RIP :'((

format in ntfs partition and i have one problem like this what is this means when i insert my pen drive into the rig then it will show that the pen drive is connected.but when i try to open it please insert your disk drive.

nope.. i cant add more than 800 MB data into it.. after that it gives an error..
its in warranty... and i think they will replace it..
