RAM faults give a single long beep. The 3 beeps sounds like a display problem. Try removing your AGP/VGA card and re-inserting it.

I removed my 7300gs and a 1gb module and it booted up fine. Tried using the faulty ram on single channel and same error. Even graphics card. I guess both have gone kaput.

Turns out my ram is at fault. Graphic card works fine. Rushes off to change the memory.
