Help needed for micro SD card

i have a 1Gb Micro SD card which is password protected. Now, i am not able to access it because i dont remember the password.
even to format it password is required. and windows is detecting the removable drive but not able to access or format it too.

is there any application to format it???

Did you lock it with any external application or through the option that is provided in the phone. If the case is latter you should insert the card in the phone through which you locked it and you would be able to access the files on it. To format it you can find tools by searching on google.

thanks but MMCMEDIC isnt working for my mmc
i had locked through option provided in the mobile

In the first post the issue is about an SD card and now it has become mmc.
