Yeah. It has 2 years warranty, and I bought it only about 4 months ago. The only problem is that right now I am in Bangalore, and I am from Kerala.

I have tried the recovery software from the CD. It had 3.3 firmware version. It flashed correctly, but the initial problem that I mentioned in the first post still existed. So I decided to try 3.1 firmware. Earlier, when I had 3.4 firmware in the player, if I try to flash with 3.1's utility, flashing fails and the player wouldn't boot anymore. Even then, if I connect it to the computer, the player will be detected as
Player Recovery Class or some name like that in Device Manager. But this time, 3.1 firmware installed correctly. After that, player is not booting up, and it is not detected by the computer. It seems the player is totally dead.

I will try it and will post back about the result. I strongly hope that this will work.
Pls pray for my player.
