Default Power plug woes :-(

hi guys

I got my Viewsonic 19" widescreen LCD delivered at my home a couple of hours ago . The problem is it's come with a US power cord for AC input ( and im in India ) . the power cord says 7A , 125 V .

I have an old CRT power cord which reads as 10A , 250 V .So is it better to use the old CRT power cord for my new LCD , or is it preferable to use the
new LCD power cord with a cheap ( presumably ) US to India convertor ?

Thanx ..plz reply quickly as i cant wait to watch Die Hard 4 .

Default Re: Power plug woes :-(

U can use the same cord with a converter but i would suggest u to ask a computer dealer that is it safe or even a electrician might help.

but i think that it will work fine with the bundled cord
