How about bellow Config ??

X2 4400+ @ Rs. 4000/- + TAX
ASUS M2A-VM @ Rs. 3800/- + TAX
2GB DDR-II 667MHz @ Rs. 3800/- + TAX
250 GB SATA-II WD 16mb Buffer @ Rs. 2700/- + TAX
DVD RW @ Rs. 1500/- + TAX
Pinnacle TV Tuner Card PCTV Tuner Kit for Vista @ Rs. 2100/- + TAX
Cabby + ColorSit 500 SMPS @ Rs. 2200/- + TAX
19" TFT WideScreen View Soniq VG1930WM @ Rs. 12000/- + TAX
Creative 5.1 @ Rs. 3600/- + TAX
Microsoft Combo @ Rs. 750/- + TAX

Total Rs. 37908 incl 4% TAX

Will be enough for ur need i would say, but If u are one intel FAN then E4300 is Rs. 4400 + TAX and XFX 650i Ultra Rs. 5000/- + TAX and as no onboard video with it, so, 8400 GS Rs. 2800/- + TAX

For view Soniq Supreem is the dealer in Kolkata

Man just go for the config that aks suggested, its great. But since you dont have to game, then go for 8400 GS Rs. 2800/- + TAX as choto suggested.
And use 19" TFT WideScreen View Soniq VG1930WM @ Rs. 12000/- + TAX mobo as choto_cheeta suggested. Awesome rig.

In a nutshell: (Courtesy choto and aks_win)

E6750 @ Rs. 8800/- + TAX
XFX 650i Ultra @ Rs. 5000/- + TAX
2 GB DR-II 667 @ Rs. 3800/- + TAX
160 GB SATA-II @ Rs. 2000/- + TAX
Liteon DVD burner @ Rs 1450/- + TAX
Cabby with good power 2000/- + TAX
Keyboard Mouse Rs. 500/- + TAX
UPS (Local Brand) @ Rs. 1400/- + TAX
Speakers 500 Rs
19" TFT WideScreen View Soniq VG1930WM @ Rs. 12000/- + TAX
8400 GS Rs. 2800/- + TAX

Thats it.

hii friend thats a real good config but aks forgotten to mention LCD in his config that u did.... see i already've got UPS from APC 500, TV tuner ext from zenith, speakers intex 4.1 n modem from bsnl so i'll save money on this.... but i wud like to know weather this XFX mobo is real a good one or shud i opt for asus, msi, intel or gigabyte n what model n abt viewsonic lcd it looks impressive.... shud i go for this or shud i look for AOC, samsung, Asus.? and also shud i go for widescreen or normal as in picture quality wise... n abt my gaming need i won't b platin much game but if i'll ever play game then the games r Meed for Speed latest version, Max Payne 2, Project IGI, for e.g.. so now u can get a good idea from this.... what i'll need... thnx to all of u for such a good advice..... u ppl just rocks......

with FSB 1333 there are not much option...

How ever, I would say as u have few things already, then try and push for P5N-E SLi over XFX 650i, if possible off course...

P5N-E SLi is Rs. 7000/- + TAX in Kolkata...

For TFT, that one is good enough... its one WideScreen....

and as for gaming, all games will run under 8400 GS... so if needed in next 6 to 8 months u can allways press for one 8800 GTS 340 MB as prices will fall when 9xxx cards comes to the market

Default Re: Help Plz to Buy a PC 35-40K (i'm confused!!!)

@sr_garg: As saurav said XFX will not support 1333FSB wale processors out of the box. You need a bios update. But if you are going for 1066 FSB ( Which I suggest you should not go as the 1333 are the hot thing nowdays) then XFX is the best motherboard out there. But even after Bios update XFX rocks.
So if you are going to buy XFX or even Asus mobos that do NOt support 1333 outta box then ask your dealer to update the bios before you purchase the mobo as somebody in the forum had a free bios update from the dealer.

But go for SLI based mobo only if you plan to use 2 gfx cards. You tend to shell out a couple more thousands just for a PCIx slot.

Widescreen monitors are better when it comes to movies as you wont be getting that broad black line on top and bottom of the screen. The horizontal viewing area increases and normally all the games support widescreen nowdays. Go for viewsonic its nice. Since I havent used any LCD I cant tell you more about this stuff.
