Default my computer gives a beep every time it starts. what is the problem????

hi my computer gives a beep every time it starts.also it takes a long time to boot.
i have recently installed a new 256mb DYNET ram.
previously i had 2*256=512mb of hynix ram. now i have 3*256=768mb ram.

is it due to the new ram????is this some kind of ram incompatibility.

i have intel 2.8 gz hyperthrading procc and intel orignal 915gav motherboards.
recently it gave this error message
pls take a look at the error message

Do you have 3 ram sticks or what? Most mobos have 2 slots for a particular type of ram - ddr or ddr2 or sdram, etc. Confused!!!
Also, check RAM frequencies; they must be supported by your mobo.
