Laptop under 35k

Hi all.

My friend called me today as he wants to buy a laptop. His budget is max 35k but prefers around 30k. He needs a Vista ready lappy with Core2Duo.

Please suggest quickly as he plans to buy it today itself as he wants to come to Pune tomorrow. He will be bying this in Mumbai.

I dont know if you can get a C2D laptop for under 35k... But you can get a Compaq Presario V3225AU for around 32k. It is based on AMD Turion processor (which should be reasonably okay compared to C2D), 512MB RAM, 80GB HDD, DVD Writer, Vista Home Basic and 14.1" widescreen...

Thanks Arun, evn I had suggested him the same lappy, but he wanted to know if he could get a C2D. I will ask him to buy Compaq Presario v3225AU. It is available for 32k when he checked it yesterday.

C2D in 30-35K!, I dont think its possible, he will be lucky if gets an older COre SOlo or Core Duo for that price.
