Sys gets hanged

i have KOB 810 MB, P3 with 218 mb DDR ram and 40 gb WD HDD. my problem is that when i start my computer it gets hanged after 30 or 60 seconds and i have to do a cold reboot. is there any solution u frnds can give me?

First things:-
1)You have P 3 with 810 MB, 256 Mb SD Ram not DDR.It shows as 218 because your onboard video is sharing the ram.
You need to do this:-
Please clean the Processor fan and SMPS ( PSU ) by blowing air into it.Then go to bios and check if the current flow is stable from SMPS and stay in bios for about 20 mins .
The reasons is if the system is overheating or there is PSU problem then there will be system restart even when you are in the bios.
However is there is no system restart in the bios then you will have to check if you PC is infected with Virus or Torjon or worm.Run complete system scan.
Also do Check Disk on the harddrive if this doesnt do it..

i stayed in BIOS for about 20 mins but no sys restart. i think there is virus prob but i had formatted my HDD several times but no avail. can u guide me how to remove tht virus....i think it is boot virus. thanks 4 ur prev tips.
