LG GCC 4521B drive's speed problem

Hi i have LG GCC 4521B combo drive.till recently it was working fine but now it is not playing dvd movies properly. i checked drive with nero info tool and it showing that dvd read speed is 5x.but actually its speed should be 16x.how i can solve this problem? i have checked drive mode.it is working in ultra dma mode 2. i used nero cd/dvd spped program to check speed and it is giving me "no seek complete(030200)" error.what does it mean.i tried to search it in google but could not find relevent information. it is reading cds fine plz help. i have firmare version 1.07. plz help thanx

try a lens cleaner.. and try also to update the firmware... well the best would be to check it in another PC and then if the problem persists then take it to a service center.. coz your drive is dying AFAICT.. well but first try clean and firmware update..

I have LG GCC 4522B and same happens for me 5x, and many DVD's i just can't play on it. I am unable to find anything and since the drive is out of warranty, LG service center asking for 600 bucks, so better get it changed if it in warranty..
