Wireless AP or Router

i have a query.
i live in a colony which has shared a broadband line to all flats via LAN..
i now have a desktop pc and a wifi-enabled laptop...

wat do i need so that i can connect to the net over wifi,, an ACCESS Point or a Router..

i need such a device dat my pc and my laptop can communicate to each other and share the net connection simultaneously... yet being invisible on the "colony LAN"...

you will need a router then. netgear WGR 614 would suffice.

Yes Go for Wireles Router!! I am using Trendnet...Dont know whether available in India....

U pls update the price if u have asked any dealer....
