What do i need to upgrade?

My pc configuration is in my signature. Just want to ask that what parts do i need to upgrade to enjoy all new games at 1024x768. Settings-high. Resolution not more than 1024x768 and not even less. Because i have a 15" LCD and it looks best at this rsolution.

A decent GPU , 2GB Ram
i guess that shud suffice.

a 7300gs graphics card shuld do. its ~3.1K

Will a 8600 GT be good enough?
And DDR RAM is very expensive. If i upgrade to a new mobo supporting ddr2 then will current cpu will be supported? For e.g: Will a 965 mobo support a p4? I guess not.And my current mobo has a crippled pcie slot that runs at 4x rather than 16x. So? Any suggestions?

8600GT is very decent. Also if your P4 is LGA which i am sure it is, then 965 will support it,so you have the option of buying a DDR2 board

Yes my cpu is a LGA 775 pin. So it will be supported on 965 mobo. Can u give me an option of a good 965 based motherboard? Should not be too heavy on pocket and should give good performance in gaming.
