Unhappy Computer not starting

My computer has suddenly stopped starting. The last time I used it, it was working soooo fine and the next day when I turned it on it just didn't start. The problem is this that the lights of the cabinet and the motherboard turn on and both the lights of the HDD and the CD Drive turn on continously. But it doesn't beep as it usually did before booting. There is nothing on the screen and the computer does not boot.

Can someone help mee ?? I'm in a big problem.......

It can be a ram problem. My 4 year old system had this issue. I usually take out the ram and insert it into other slot. Sometimes it works. The repair guy came one day and said the ram had to be replaced. He put in a new stick and it was working fine for 3-4 days.... suddenly the same isuue popped up again. Now he says its because of moisture.......
