i am planning a new machine for my frnd

here's wot i need

a lcd around 10k (is Viewsonic VG1921wm gud?)
ram 1gb.. enough, i suppose?
processor+ mobo around 9k ?? E4300+which mobo or shud i go for AMD?

my basic requirement is tht i must b able to play the HD muvie rips..

pls help guys

1 GB DDR-II 667 MHz should not be more than 2.2k, which one you have queted, 3.3 ?? where as in Kolkata Transcend was 1900 + TAX when I last checked !!!

HDD Segate 160 GB is 2050 + TAX

and about Procy Mobo, with OC E4300 is not the one to buy, I suggest, AMD X option will be far better

AMD (AM2) X2 4200 @ Rs. 4800 + TAX
ASUS M2A-VM (AMD 690G with ATi x1250) Rs. 4000 + TAX

and i dont need a hdd.
all i need is a gud combo of proccy+mobo for around 9k wid gud inbuilt grafix which shud b gud enough to play hd muvies widout any hiccups.

and is it any possiblity to attach the lcd wid cpu at a distance of around 15 feet.

best are dell ones.instead of lg,better go for samsung or viewsonic.
i m using viewsonic 1921wm.its really cool for me.
19 inch,widescreen.max resolution 1440*900.

i know viewsonic is cool, but features in lg which impress me are the high contrast ratio of 2000:1 and hdcp compatibility.

3 months Back I bought One View Sonic VG1930wm for Rs. 13.2k incl TAX, i am not sure whats the Price now...

Its running with one AMD 690G Based board with DVI Interface... !!!! Great Performance !!!

yaa i have i was going for viewsonic but the vendor told me that after sales service is bad . then i saw samsung theborder was in silver colour. and i had gone for lg . yes lg . the contract ratio is wonderfull 2000.1 but about the picture quality i would i say not like samsung but beeter than viewsonic. i think it also due to i am having p3 soo there is no grapic cars thats whyyy. i think u should go for dell only its the best
