Dual layer DVD doesn't play in Liteon LH-20AP model dvd writter

Hi,

I have brought a brand new Liteon LH-20AP dvd writter,it does read the normal dvds but it doesn't read the dual layer dvds(even the one provided by the digit mag).

Please help me on this.....if any one have any idea on this.

Also doesn anyone know the service centre details of Liteon in Chennai.

The Dual layer Digit DVD is not working.

guys just update the firmware and they will all work....newest version is KL0N

check the same Dvd on ur frds pc ..... if it works try updating firmware 4 ur drive from :

^^ Your might be a "purana" piece with older firmware ( Its like your Burner is new but the whole stock might be old with the older firmware) . I bought the same writer about a month back and it is reading DL DVDs. I think mine is firware updated.
