Two Ethernet Controllers on Same PC?

Hi All,

I have Two PC's with WinXp. Each PC got Onboard Ethernet Controller.
Also got ADSL Connection (With Ethernet Interface).

Problem is

1. How can i Put Both Computers on LAN cosidering the fact that I Also got ADSL Connection (With Ethernet Interface).

Limitations: Low/No Budget for Additional Hardware

Ya sure.You may then use a crossover cable between the 2 pc's.

Some How I am not Able to Put Second Ethernet Card on same PC (having Onboard Ethernet Controller). It give me "Error 10" Please See Pic Attached.


Tried Changing Slot
Also Updated Latest Driver.

Please Help.

Seems to me a software issue more than a Hardware problem.. !! Try Installing updated Drivers !!

Choto Cheeta .. Already Done that... Latest Drivers are already in place... but no use....

Remove the card drivers from device manager.Change the card to a different slot.Restart and reinstall drivers.
See if it helps.

Try to Disable the Simple file share, go to Tools, then Folder Option, and do uncheck the option, which says, use simple file share



Now right click on the drive, and go to shareing and security, there apart from defaul X$ share, Click New Share and give a name then Click Permission, now try to add every one or ur use name there with Full permission
