Graphix Card Purchase Help

Hi ppl,

My 1st thread and 1st question

I have a p4 2.8 ghz pc with 1 gb ddr ram 400 mhz over a intel orginal 865 gbf board supporting agp interface
my old geforce fx 5200 card got busted and i wanna replace it

any ideas on what i should look out for.. ny personal suggestions

Nah, 865 doesn't have a PCI-e, only AGP 8x.

Try getting a NVIDIA GeForce 7600GS or a GeForce 6600GT. Those are very good AGP cards in your price range. But you sure will have a __very__ hard time finding an AGP 8x card.
