guys i hve to buy a laptop , i hv options from HP nd Toshiba .
bt i guess in delhi we hvnt gt notebooks , with intel santa rosa platform.

i just wanna ask dat shud i wait for santa rosa notebooks or shud i buy da ones availbe at present ?

nd plz suggest a notebook b/w hp 6314 ( 15.4' inch ) or hp 9312 ( 17.0" inch )

budget is arnd 65000 , nd 17" i ws considering just for movies nd internet pleasure . i dnt hve to carry da notebook nywhere !

If you dont want to carry it, why dont you buy a Desktop.
In that budget you will get a Desktop twice powerfull then the same budget Laptop.

dell will be releasing santa rosa based 1520(15") and 1720(17") with new 8000 series nvidia graphics card(supporting direct x10) by next week most probably and infact dell has already released santa rosa based latitude(business notebook) in india. Also check out hp showroom they have released few santa rosa notebook in india but I am not sure about the graphics card they are using most probably intel integrated one. and I doubt whether toshiba has released santa rosa based notebook, they are still sticking with core 2 duo and core duo platform atleast in india.
