Default CD ROM woes

My system has following Config.
AMD Athlon 64 3000+
MSI RS480M2 Motherboard
Seagate 80GB SATA & Seagate 40 GB IDE HDD
RAM 512 MB 333 MHz DDR
Samsung Combo Drive

OS-WinXP with all updates

I have changed my SMPS recently... since then the Combo drive is not detected in windows explorer... the tray comes out after pressing button... is there any software problem (registry mod or something) behind this???
Please help

Check the data cables. Plug out and plug in again.

Check in the BIOS whether it displays the particular model of the drive and not certain strange characters.
