Default Cabinet Exhaust FAN

Hi,

This thread would seem weird but i have onw query reagrding the cabinet exhaust fan.

I have an ASUS board which supports Q-Fan(mobo has the power pins to connect for exhaust fans) technology. In my current state i am using the traditional exhaust fans to blow the warm air out of cabinet which uses the SMPS power cords to drive.

Is it worth the purchase to get a Q-Fan for exhaust purposes ?

Also let me know if it worth purchasing hard drive fans for cooling hard drives ?

Regards.

Default Re: Cabinet Exhaust FAN

Q-fan is a tech not a fan or any component like dat...

I guess ASUS incorpoprates Q-fan in all premiuim mobos n its used to control n reduce d speed to overcome noise wen system's not under load...

Well hdd coolin fans do a good job... Anythin dat can cool a component will always inc the longevity of the thing...

They do add noise...

Ther're coolers fer almos anythin such as HDD, RAms n d usuals...
