second hand pc for gaming

hulo frnds m planning 2 buy a pc for gaming purpose..m thinking to buy an amd Athlon 64 X2 3800+ and M2V-TVM mobo..is this config enough for gaming and wat graphic card should i use within 5- K which is DX 10 compatible and i was thinking that game purpose is mainly done by graphic card so i can invest more in graphic card and buy a second hand pc like P4 or athlon AM2 and a good graphic card. pls guys help me and my budget is also low...

see the processor is good enough for gaming needs , as far as mobo goes go for ASUS M2A VM which is having onboard ATi1250 gfx, which is good enogh for casual gaming which costs 5K,
also a mid range DX10 card will cost you 5500 ,it's 8500GT
