DVD Writer on old system.

Guys,

I have a very old PC in the trash at home. Though I was surprised that it still runs fine.

It is a Celeron 333MHz with [256+16]MB RAM and [20+4]GB HDD. It also has a LG CD Writer and working sound card and modem, etc.

Is it possible to install any DVD writer on such a system ??? As I have decided to give it away to someone, I was wondering whether it would support a DVD writer too.

Any help on this would be welcome.

first of all, get xp installed!(dont worry i had xp installed on celeron 300mhz machine)... disable all visual effects.. now install dvd writter on a different IDE channel to your HDD.(IDE0 to ur HDD, IDE1 to your DVD-RW)
now.. notthing.. just write ur dvd's.. make sure to write them at the slowest speeds. tell me if this clicks.
