The best dvd writer

I am planning on buying a new DVD writer....suggest a good one for me.....

In my opinion all Sony, Samsung, Liteon, LG are good. Lite on has a good brand image though

Had a samsung and sony dvd writer.....and both of them had ejecting problems.....is the Lg good?

Those're really rare n depends on our handlin...

We musn't force the trays inside... Esp wen d syst goes off wen the tray's out...

Lg's jus ok.. Nuthin so good...

Sony n Lite-on's best... Plextor was also good....

Then ther're Pioneers' with 16MB caches n all ouut our reach....

Sony DRU-835/DRU-170c... good ones...

lite on is quite good but availablity and finding service centers is a prob in small towns

LG is good i am using it and no pros till now, writting speed is also good.

sony dvdrws are repackaged BENQs. so go for BENQ. its cheaper by 100-200 bucks.
