how can i confirm it is sata or sata 2 ?

I purchased seagate sata 160 gb hard-disk .

dealer says it is sata 2 but how can i confirm it ?

it's specification are :-

barracuda 7200.9

st3160211as

silly question after purchasing it

but it is compatible with intel org. d946gzis and will work with no problem ?

Change dat drive... Its jus got 2mb buffer.. I hav an ST3160212as.. Check out sgt's website fer more details...

U'll be asked to enter dat serial no of urs... Then u'll know.. bUt its jus got 2mb buffer so change it n get somethin havin 8mb...
