Exclamation DVD-RW problem!!!

My LG GSA H20N DVD-RAM drive has started acting up after i upgraded its firmware from 1.01 to 1.02. It does not giv any problem in xp but when i boot in vista, it gets recognised as an unkown hardware found. It says it was not able to get the drivers for this particular device. I don't understand the link between firmware and drivers. Can sum1 help me?

Cool Re: DVD-RW problem!!!

Have You Checked This Prob With Old Firmware?
If Everything Is Right With It,
I Will Suggest That You Have To Stick To Old Firmware.

Unhappy Re: DVD-RW problem!!!

I had updated the firmware using the LG online update software. The most surprising thing about the firmware update was its description:
Supports Vista.

@pushkaraj after selecting update driver option in device manager, choose the 'Browse my computer' option and then select the drive on which Vista is installed.
