Uh...

Core2Duo obviously n fer those apps its outta question...

Budget pal.... We need the budget fer dat...

Lets say...

The C2D E4300- 5k + Asus P5B-VM - 7400 fer starters... (O'clock n get the xtra edge!!!)

Fer enthusiasts go fer the C2D6600 + ASus P5B Dlx- 21000 net

But value for money is for AMD as their mobos are also cheaper.
u can get the 5000+ for less than 8k now.

But if u have the money to shell out, say some 15k for CPU nd mobo then go for C2D.
