Default UPS .. problem... plz help

gt Proview UPS.. but today when i started d UPS i got a constant beep .. which conntinued till i switched off d power... D .. computer is not starting... and when i conncetd d UPS 2 only power supply.. d constant beep continued...it did not stop.. so whts d problem >> plz help..

then wht 2 do . now.. nd wht is d reason for it being dead.. the UPS is 2 years old... wht will be d cost of new battery?? mine is 600 KVA UPS PROVIEW

its natural for a battery to die after two years of normal work...

i m not sure of the battery prices at your city.. it may cost around 1K for a branded one...

batt is not so costly. even a car's batt (12 V) 35 costs 3.5k. UPS batts sud b much cheaper around .5k
