Memmory Slot

This may seem a bit silly, but can anyone tell that is there a difference in performance when u install a memory in slot 0 instead of slot 1. I have an Intel 865GBF board with 4 DIMM slots divided into Channel A slot 0, Channel A slot 1,Channel B slot 0,Channel B slot 1.Relpy Please.

installing in diff slots only matters when you need to install them in dual channel mode!
else it doesnt make a diff.
