Post replacement of asus motherboard

i already have Asus A8V-MX mobo with 939 pins AMD 3000+ running @1.8 MHz...

i'm thinking of changing my mobo with M2N-MX which is of AM2 socket, can i use my 939 amd proccessor on this mobo since AM2 socket and 939 pins architecture are almost the same ???

i already have nvidia 5200 fx graphic card 256 MB(it does not consume any ram so my 512MB ram is spared) on my a8v-mx ... i'm changing my mobo becoz m2n-mx has new features, latest technology and has nvidia 6100 graphics card which is better than my 5200 fx card. so i am going for the change. is it worth it ???

and also tell me whether onboard nvidia 6100 card on m2n-mx is 128 or 256 MB?? and will it consume extra ram??

umm... now, on paper, 6200 LE 128MB Grfx Card is btter than 6150 Chip Set of a Biostar board.... but in practical setup i saw, 6150 On board with shared memory of 256 MB out performing my 6200 LE in Vista Ratings

and with medium settings both runs game in a more or less same manner !!!

now cant say about 6100 but they are suppose be more or less same thoug...

and compairing with 5200, yes, 6150/6100 is suppose to perform better than that card !!!!

Please note, they are just GPU sharing their Memory from Actual Physical system RAM !!!! so, it is allways better to have dedicated Cards
