Default DVD Erased!!!

Few days ago, while i was watchin a movie on my pc, i accidently clicked on format dvd option.. now the dvd-r is not showing any content.. is their any method by which i can retrieve the data???
i use windows vista ultimate...

google for Recovery Software
Software I use to recover my PC data is
"PC Inspector File Recovery"

Used MagicISO, and it worked.. thanx!!

how much time does it take to recover abt 4GB of data???
because i started recovering the dvd 10mins ago and the progress is only 1%...
