Default ***Hard Disk Crash Grave Situation ****

I have a SATA HDD in which my OS is loaded and another IDE HDD for normal data storage.

Now last week when i was reinstalling my OS (XP),everything worked fine , except that the other IDE HDD is now asking to be formatted .

Now the IDE HDD was having data of 320 GB

Please help me recover from this issue ..

I had some of my most important .pst files in that !!

all possible help is appreciated ..

The important thing is, did u format the HDD, either during the Installation of Win XP or after that?

Incase you did format it, try some tools like Handy Recovery to recover the files.

But note, the Trial version of Handyrecovery 3.0 can recover only 1 file per day, but it shows every directory structure like in Windows Explorer, unlike other apps...
