RAM upgrade in Intel 845GLAD motherboard
Hi everybody!
I am a new member and have a query.
I want to upgrade RAM of my computer with following configuration :
Intel P - IV, 1.7 GHz, 400 MHz
128 MB DDR2 RAM 266 Mhz
Board : D845GLAD
I have installed Office 2007 and the system has slowed down very much and invariably get "Virtual Memory Low" message often.
Please suggest how much RAM can the system be upgraded to and what will be the minimum RAM required for VISTA.
Thanx

Re: RAM upgrade in Intel 845GLAD motherboard
For XP with office 2007 - 512MB should be fine. For Vista 1GB Minimum in order to make a usable environment. 2GB would be great hough
But remember your Motherboard supports DDR1 and not DDR2. DDR1 is very expensive since DDR2 are used thse days
