when i checked my dvd region code it says "Not Selected"...up until this all was fine except that dvd...but in attempt to make it work i selected it to india....but it didn't work still...all my digit dvds are working fine as usual...but my project gutenberg dvds are not working...it seems earlier it was not reading any sort of region code but now it is.......i know ppl here dont help in what i am gonna ask(even i dont..and i appreciate it) but plz read the entire problem before ignoring it.... can anyone tell me how to unlock the dvd region code..i know it is possible and u guys know it..so plz help me....my gutenberg dvds are very important to me...plz guys its my fathers office laptop and if i am not able to do something then this might be the end of my computing life or even career.....plz plz plz plz..i know u guys know the solution ..and i also know that u dont help in piracy..but this not piracy...i dont want the solution for playing pirated/smuggled dvds but to make sure that i can still use my fathers laptop(i dont have a computer)....i dont pirate..every software on that laptop is freeware( i prefer freeware coz i cant afford to buy expensive software).....i really need that code...i havent done anything wrong in my life and have sweared not to pirate software so surely i can get help in this regard ..plz

Default Re: Dvd Problems

Firstly ,its very difficult to read such a big para without proper formatting...
You said you changed the DVD region code to India...
  • How did you do so ?
  • What type of DVD is it ?
  • Then can't you revert back to Not selected using the same process ?

Anyway, check this software. Its a trial version but will probably solve your problem...
