Default HTPC suggestion

Hi guys

I have a 42" Samsung Bordeaux LCD at my home, along with DVD player, and surround sound speakers. Now, I wanna utilize the full potential of my HDTV. So I want to watch the 720p HD movies that I download, and watch them on my screen. Now, what I wanna know is, would I be able to build a decent HTPC for around 30k, so that I can transfer the movies I download to it, and watch them on my LCD. I havent ever build an HTPC, so I am not sure what all I need.

Thanks

Default Re: HTPC suggestion

what pc config do you have right now??

30k is good enough for htpc

1.do you have dth
2.mention all av connectors on tv
3.do you intend to record live tv shows
