Unhappy DDR2 533 not running at 533MHz

I recently upgraded my system to Amd 64 3000+(Am2)+ Asus M2N-MX mobo
,Transcend 512 MB DDR2 533(4-4-4).When i installed Nvidia ntune and checked clock speeds.Processor is running at 1800MHZ and ram at 400MHZ.
when i overclocked it through bios to 7% O.C the readings were cpu clock at 1912MHZ and ram at 438MHZ.Why is my ram not running at 533MHZ clock.
Also what's the maximum O.C values that are stable with stock cooling on this processor.
