In device manager ,it shows up along with my other samsung drive. Is this normal. I also read somewhere that SATA II has hot swap function.Is this also true for SATA I ?? Any ideas?? And also i'm using the MSI K8N Neo4 -F mobo.

So you mean its normal? Is there anyway to disable the hot swap feature?

Yes it's normal.........I also have 80Gb IDE (having the OS) and another 160Gb SATA II.

@digital2006 ........ "optimise for performance " is already selected and thats the reason its showing the green arrow.But anyways since it is normal ,I can ignore it.
