Ok you will be able to play underground + most wanted.
But dont think about Carbon.

Decrese the HDD size to 120 GB and spend saved money on RAM.
I suggest first config..

the first config is suitable for ur requirments. but when ur installing so much i strongly recommend to buy a gfx card. cut down on ur hdd.look for a bit cheaper lcd's and please put a gfx. u'll repent afterwards. i made a similar mistake. ati x1600 pro will fall in ur budget once u cut down on ur hdd and screen.

1. If you are in to games even moderate gaming go for dedicated GPU. Any 6 series will do........but you gotta to have a dedicated gfx card...

2. Get atleast 1 GB RAM, get transcend if corsair is expensive.

Any any particular reason to go for LCD, If you ask me....... seriously the only benifit LCDs have is the space factor else CRTs believe me are as crisp and clear as any LCD. Infact the contrast and color reproduction that CRTs offer is far better than most LCDs. Also the resolution offer by CRTs are much more than what LCDs offer.
You can save a lot of money if you buy a 17" monitor or even 19". I'd say seriously consider this and invest more in GPU or RAM.

^^ If youre really so much intrested in gaming then you can buy Xbox 360. 20000 buks and youre done for atleast 4 years.
Consider this only if you can do without a PC.

If I am not wrong then you can install any OS and do surfing and stuff like that. (Can do this on PS3, not sure bout Xbox, correct me if I am wrong guys)

Just a suggestion...

^^ Its an Elife 500W SMPS ... well , i know it cheap .. but its the only SMPS in that range that actually offers 20A across a single 12V rail ... compared to other 500 bucks smps , most of which are 400-450W , and offer only 17A across 12V .. Whatever it is .. that Elife SMPS is doing good running at system comprising of an oc'ed E6300 (to 2.8 GHz) , along with a 6800GT and a RAID-0 setup , etc. etc.
