Double Thread for same query....

processor with this motherboard

Neeway....
Go AMD way with a budget of 10K......
and get atleast 1GB if Vista is what you need.....
And I dont think the onboard graphics with 64MB shared memory on that board is gonna play any 'latest' games
at the most HL1 or Max Payne 1, buy an AGP atleast, the board has the AGP slot as well.

Well the most inexpensive I can think over is the one you already mentiond......Asus Motherboard P5vdc ......if it is for 2450 go for it...ASUS boards are good...and I never expected any ASUS board to be that inexpensive.......But still you gonna overshoot you budget....
considering P4 to be anywhere near 3,4 thousand irrrespective of the Ghz.

3/4000..... P4
2500..... board
2300..... .1 GB ram
=====
7/8800

leaves you with 2/3K bucks....

PS::I request you to stop typing in caps....gives an impression of shouting...

AMD is very good for gaming.
go for PCIe slot card and atleast 300Gb hard disk, and a min of 1Gb DDR2 ram.

Hey just yesterday u asked these thigs in a separate thread and now u are for the same thing u are opening a new one...

processor with this motherboard

And i already told u,do not just go for a fast procie and below average components will give u no better performance at all.

Jut go for a AMD system for 10k and have much better experienxe due to more RAM and better integ graphics

Dont be stubborn to go for only C2D.

Yes only if you pair this board with a dedicated PCIE GPU. Onboard one is no good...

i can understand ur desire to go for the fastest system but i feel that....ah.....somthing is not going right here....

?Now for the Via chip[set i dont think Via's integ graphics are any good even for low level gaming.I m not sure about aero see about in vista compatibility or on mobo site if it supports aero theme.....

Or if u dont overclock,go for the cheapest intel based chipset i thnk 946G

Don't go for VIA mobo.. Plz thats a request. One of my frnds is troubled constantly for it.

And one more thing.. Don't go for socket 478 based pcs.. They are kinda out of generation.. Get the latest. LGA775 will also do.
