I have a budget of around 12 k and i just want to make a C.P.U so can somebody suggest me a good cpu in this range i m not a big gamer and just i need ram 512 mb minimum n dvd combo n 80 gb sata else u suggest waitng for ur replies....and one more thing it should be a P4 no amd for me pls....

^^ P4's performce is not good dude, thats why AMD was a clear winner at the times of p4.
You should rather go for C2D even E4300 will give a decent performance.
