Hitachi HDD, how are they ?

i want to know about Hitachi Hard disks drives which are available in the market ...
how are they ?
how is the service support ?
is there any major/common problem ?

i am asking this question as i am getting Hitachi HDD in my place which is having 8MB buffer size , and and Serial ATA 3.0Gb/s , as all the other drives which i m getting are seagate with only 2mb buffer and all are not sata 2 , so for my area i think i can go for hitachi hdd if they are good ... i need a 160gb sata2 hdd .... ?

i dont like hitachi.. i had one 80GB sata a long time back, when SATA was launched , and it bursted on third day,. and i got it back from the service center in 3 months.
else the performance is good.. and the drive is prety fast.. but you can go for WD, if you want.. it is really very cool..
