Microtek 800VA with double Battery is best option for your range.
It costs Rs2400/-.
After sales service is also best.
And its especially made for Indian conditions. It gives atleast half hour backup.
Go get it.

UPS with electonic sensing just go kaput at my place.

I am using Liebert-Emerson 600VA and find it very good even though here the mains voltage often fluctuates and in the evening goes down to even 150V. It is an international brand and costs equal to or more than APC.
BTW I use another 600VA (Powercomm) for my 19" LCD monitor, Sound system, Modem etc and the bypass socket for the laser printer.

u can buy either Liebert or APC both r equally good and provide trouble free service.
