Default Which UPS to buy?


This is the configuration of my rig...
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
MSI K8N Platinum Motherboard
Transcend 2*512mb
XFX Geforce 6600 graphics card...
Western Digital 80 GB SATA HDD
I am using an elife 600w smps as power supply
my computer stays on constantly , and with the recent spate of power fluctuations, i need to buy a reliable UPS.
Please, this is urgent. recommend something ...
any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Go for APC UPS and nothing else.

500VA should cost somewhere around 1700 bucks and 650 should cost 2300 bucks.

As others said, there are many available, low costs, some provide onsite service but still i always recommend APC & only APC. ( I have used both kinds).

I took mercury UPS as the dealer said that this one has onsite support but just after 2 months, it's not switching to battery power when the mains go down and now it's just a dummy hardware sitting in my house.

that's why it's only APC and nothing else.
