Deathvirus,
what is your cabby & what is your ambient temp? I am using speedfan4.32 but your screen shows all fans, in my case it only shows CPU fan, my Peace cabby has 4 fans, how can I monitor that in speedfan

do we need to set some options somewhere in speed fan or mobo to show all the details. I doubt my mobo fan sensors are not working as they should.

It means that my fan connector are not working, I had another cabinet where 4 fans were connected to the mobo but it was not showing any reading, I need to get that checked.

Dude... u are killing your HDD's. I wouldn't be surprised if ur nothbridge is running hot too, u need to change your case or something.

just open the sidepanel and blow a fan toward the case, and let us know the temperatures then.

Default Re: Heat Is On! Give Your Readings!

does enabling dual channel ram increase them proccy temp???
today i installed another ram stick and enabled dual channel ram.
slot 1:1GB ddr2 667 (5-5-5-15/4-4-4-12)
slot 2:1GB ddr2 533(5-4-4-12/4-4-4-12)

by default both ran @ 533 and wudnt oc,so i manually adjusted the timings to 5-5-5-12 and now both r running @ 667,proccy @ 3GHz and dram:fsb = 1:1.but the overall effect is that my proccy & mobo temp has increased by 2-3C.
any ideas why this is happening???
will this setup damage my mobo???

Assasin, when u OC u have to do it manually in the BIOS, & that does increase the temp too, enabling dual channel has no effect as per my knowledge in temp increase.

^^^ when i've only the 667 stick inserted den i dont hav to manually set the timings even after oc.but this prob is only with the 533 stick.its wont oc beyond 533 without manually setting the timings to 5-5-5-15.
so wat do u suggest i return the 533 module and get a 667 one?

I am not aware of this problem, lets start another thread for this problem, timing can only be set manually by disabling the SPD timings in BIOS thats what I know.

How are u OC with single stick?
There is an OC thread where u might find lots of info, its posted by sam9s

mixing 667 & 533 is not a gud idea, 1st get 533 replaced with the 667 same paired ram, I thing the problem is with different frequency ram in dual channel.

My understanding is that the higher 667 ram will be scaled down to 533 else it cannot work in dual channel, so yes u need to have same config paired ram for sure, either 667 or 533.

I use a Antec PlusView II cabby ... check it out here :

About ambient temps .. i didn't get ambient temps in the cabby itself .. but my room temps were 25-26c as i had the AC running .. ...

Also , to properly monitor the temps , ur fans must be connected to the mobo via the chassis fan connectors ..

dude.... ur posts are totally confusing, to take some sense, tell us what FSB are running the board at, then tell us if the ram is running at 1:1 or higher or lower, and then we will have there mere info of what ur ram is running at and a suggestion can be made.
