should i get a sound card

i play a lot of games and listen to music casually (i'mnot an audiophile). presently i'musing the onboard sound solution of my mobo ASUS A8N-VM. will getting a sound card (upto a budget of rs 4000) make a lot of a diff or will it make just a minor diff? i don'y use speakers. only sony headphones

Not really... Only audiophiles may want a soundcard... For casual users, the onboard soundcard is usually sufficient, especially if they are coupled with headphones or 2.0/2.1 speaker sets...

yaa if u r not that much audiophile don't go for sound card...stick with ur onboard sound ..it'ss enough for normal music listener...
