Ups?

i have a 500VA APC ups. but the problem is that it is continuously giving the beep sound and no power comes from it to the monitor or smps

whats the problem ?

i guess the battery is down..and you will probably have to replace it

First see whether it is connected to mains and the AC switch is on. Then secondly see whether the relay needs reset. Then whether the mains voltage is above or below the cut off limits.
(BTW nowadays from evening I am having > 145 V, but my Emerson-Liebert handles it without any problem.)
