Default new processor

i have an ASUS A8N-VM motherboard that supports 939 pin AMD processors. currently i have an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ processor which i want to upgrade. which is the best processor i'll get that'll work on my mobo for around rs. 8k to 10k?

Try to get the AMD X2 4200+ and above proccy. Don't know the present price but the highest available for 939 socket is 4800+......I think.

how are the fx series processors compared to the amd dual core? which ones are more expensive n which ones give better performance?
