Vista & SyncMaster 740N

I installed Vista few days back and i noticed that the white is no more white it is yellow only when watching images in vista's image viewer and in any photo edittor ... i opened ps it said the color scheme or something is corrupt i dwnldd latest drivers and still face this problem ... what is going on????

^^^ Samsung SyncMaster 740N is a 17" TFT LCD monitor.

@mAV3 even i hav the same prob as urs with my LG L1752S.Ithink the problem is with the color profiles of the monitor drivers.

the samsung color profiles create problems in vista,choose any other colour profile from the list and set it as the default.

there are no other color profiles

goto Control Pannel ->Colr Management -> Add ->sRGB IEC61966-2.1.
after adding this color profile,set it as default.
sud solve the prob.
atleast it solved my prob.

You could give this a try ,did not work for me throws a random error saying some "parameter is incorrect". Dont really care about this so gave up on it and yea a Samsung LCD here as well.

ok guys it worked for me thanks techno funky ...

heres what i did:

first download this

open advanced display settings
color management
devices
in devices chk the Use my settings box just below the device
then go to the all profiles tab
add the new profile (i added the adobe 1 from the rgb folder)
then go back to devices
now delete the existing profile
select add and then add the file u just added in the other menu (the adobe wala)
then click on profiles - and select the combine with default option ....

this should do it, if not then just fiddle around with the menus it will be done

if this works with color profile changing thats good,,

some time. there causes a problem of display card while booting..

nothing in my case ... at times i do get during the boot that monitor is not in optimized mode but thats only for a few seconds
